as it blows away the dreams of the man on the street
listen to the hungry stomach of the guy on the street
as it takes away the hunger to succeed
listen to the heart of the lover
as he cries tears of hurt for the love he has lost
listen to the weather
as it weathers away the hope of the youth
listen to the passion
as it screams so loud to be heard
listen to the wars
as they scar our earth, mind and future
listen to your present
as it calls to your future
listen to your self
as you have the weight of the world on your shoulders
listen because you will be the best
listen or your tongue will make you deaf
