Little Bell Poem by Diana van den Berg

Little Bell

Rating: 5.0

You tiny sun-kissed, shadow-cooled,
yellow, Bauhinia tomentosa bell,
high above my forest floor,
frolicking in giggling harmony
with carefree, miniscule, camel-foot leaves,
to a backdrop of tree-fringed, blue-happy skies
your dance of joy choreographed
by a mischievous breeze of note,

you enchant my cheerful heart
and birth my summer delight.
