Little Cloud Poem by Randy McClave

Little Cloud

Little cloud up in the sky
Up towards the heavens so high,
As I see you there all alone
Seemingly to me you are only known.
I stare at you now in wonder
Happily you are bringing no thunder,
Are you there just resting
As if you were a bird nesting.
I wonder if I flew a kite
Could it reach and touch your being so white,
And as I stand on the earth below
The wind, it not once did blow.
This moment I do not want to forget
Which I know would bring me regret,
So, I grabbed my camera and took your picture
Never do I want to forget this adventure.
Now I know that now we both must leave
As I now feel a gentle breeze,
Cloud, cloud all alone
So, unto you I wrote this poem.
