Little Crush Poem by Satya Pratik

Little Crush

A funny tale I tell,
Of a little crush,
With cheeks red blush.
I did fell hard!
Picked my pocket to play a card.
To make my way,
Into her heart.
But oh, she was smart!
We had long night conversations,
Delving deep in our imaginations.
We talked about this and that,
We reached a conclusion,
The culprit was the bat.
We made illusion of a solution.
We had our hopes shattered,
We had it all broken and battered.
Waiting got tough,
Conversation were bliss enough.
We confessed,
It was the best.
I smiled and talked,
She talked and smiled.
We had it all together,
Then love came under the weather.
It was all silly,
But she was my Lilly!
How could it be,
I couldn't see.
This wasn't that fun,
I guess it's not done.
Still no ring on that finger
Our love story will linger.
