Little Emerald Poem by Skylark Woodrow

Little Emerald

Rating: 5.0

Little Emerald glowing green,
Tell me of all the things you've seen.
Of the Earth dark and warm,
Cradling you within its depths.
Of the Sun as you first saw it;
Shining bright, your first light.
Of the person who found you and saw the beauty within you,
Of the work worn hands that cut and chipped away your flaws.
Of the silver that now adorns you,
And of the heart that gave you to me.
Oh little emerald glowing green,
Tell me of all the things you've seen.
