Little Girl Poem by Tasha Miller

Little Girl

Rating: 5.0

I say this for the little girl,
the little girl inside.
I know we had a dream
but our little dream died.

Please don’t be sad,
don’t cry anymore.
Let’s heal our heart,
it has grown so sore.

There are no happy endings,
its so unfair, but true.
He couldn’t be what you needed,
he couldn’t just love you.

Little girl without a daddy,
it may be a gift to you.
The Good Lord may have known
it was a job he couldn’t do.

Little girl, you hush now,
get some needed rest.
Little girl, you hush now,
have faith, you will be blessed.
