Little Girl Inside Poem by Lauren Joy

Little Girl Inside

Little girl inside
Barely six years old
Subjected to years
Of abuse and torture
Naked, cold, shivering
Tears staining her skin
Evidence all over her body
Of malicious gestures
Blood seeping slowly
From hidden, painful wounds
Fading away to nothing
A sad, lonely departure
