Little Lady Poem by Wild Child

Little Lady

I like the taste of her lips on a sunny day
as a cool wind blows her hair on my face
i wouldnt want it any other way

and the smile she gives as she looks into my eyes
sets all the stirring in my soul alright
ill just live from day to day

and the worlds more beautiful with my little lady
giving it all away when im with my baby

the cold wind gets warmer with her in mind
making a winter's night shorter
knowing shes by my side

hoping the candle we have will stay alight
holding us together on lonely nights
together we can escape and hide

because the worlds more beautiful with my little lady
giving it all away when im with my baby

and the past has seen stories been told
tales of promise
end with broken hope
so if you feeling down or feeling lone
got no place to call your own
a heart is waiting, forever a home

so if you got no place to call your own
times are hard, times are cold
theres always a heart called home
