Little Memory Poem by Saucy Elmo

Little Memory

Is this little memory a realization?
Sure, whats my life without another complication?
I lie awake, crying myself to sleep.
Remembering little things that were mine to keep.

As another tear falls from my face.
I sing sad songs that echo in this empty place.
When you walk away, my heart slowly breaks.
I don't know how much more of this I can take.

You're moved on, but I'm still stuck in the past.
Every tear I cried over you, I swore it was the last.
But crying was never enough, my thoughts still drifted to you.
Moving on has never worked, so what's the use?

Why do you watch while I slowly die?
Every day that passes, is another piece of me that dies inside.
Every time I fall, I try to pick up whats left of me.
You opened my eyes, helped me find what I couldn't see,
Every day that passes by, I still think you'll forget about me.
