Little Miss Broken Poem by Samantha Moon

Little Miss Broken

Rating: 4.8

Little Miss Broken
Sits off to the side
Knowing no boundaries
Knowing no pride
She used to know
Such a long time ago
But now all she does
Is sits
Off to the side
Hoping to die

What a pathetic fate!
For one who was
So bright and so wise
She used to run around the gardens
Used to swim beneath the trees
Thought thoughts about her gods
Thought thoughts about her life
But now all she does
Is sit
Off to the side
Counting away her days
Until she finally dies

She'd given up to quick
Choosing instead
Something that made her nothing
She doesn't wish to cry her tears
She doesn't wish to scream her fears
All she does
Is sits
Off to the side
Hoping and wishing
That she will die.
