Little Moments Poem by Veronica T. C.

Little Moments

It's moments that are so quiet,
That are worrisome,

Then there are moments that are peaceful,
So calming and self comforting that life melts away,

But then you feel of brisk wind,
Suddenly that peaceful moment slips away,
As time goes by,
It becomes nothing but a distant memory,

Life goes on,
Getting caught up in life's chaotic decisions,
Time flys,
Years pass,

But you still remember that peaceful moment you had once upon a time.
Life has changed dramatically since that moment has come and gone.

Are you happy with your life?
Or do you wish that you were on a different path?

You ponder this for sometime,
Questions you may have,
Answers that went unanswered,
Closure that never came,

Bonds that were severed and never fixed,
Feelings were hurt,
Hearts were broken,
Love has come and gone,
Friends had come and gone,

Oh dear,
Oh dear,

Don't you wish you could go back in time?
It's moments that are so quiet,
That are also worrisome,

They can bring us happiness,
Pain,
Comfort,
Self-assurance,
Ease,
Peace of mind,
Anger,
Loneliness,

Tears may be brought to the eyes.
But don't fret little one,
Don't you remember what you're dealing with now it'll be nothing but a distant memory a year from now.

Until then enjoy those peaceful moments,
When you get that sudden brisk of wind,
Move swiftly through the choices,
You have to make for a smoother journey.

After all memories are the proof that we have of those bittersweet quiet moments we once had.
