Little Pretty Queen Poem by Abubakar Mohammed Musa

Little Pretty Queen

Oh little beautiful queen,
Or should I say more than a queen,
So adorable like a shining gem,
Smiles of more than a shimmering gem,
Your dark eyes sparkling and warm,
With dark eyes and hair,
With sun-kissed skin Oh dear,
Red lips like petals of rose,
Arranged eyes like that of your mother.

Oh little darling queen,
I wished my son was a king,
So as to marry you as his queen,
To be the mother of my grandchildren,
To have beautiful princes and princesses,
The kingdom of my son was expecting you,
My son was waiting for you,
After memorizing Qur'an to marry him.

Oh my little daughter in-law,
I wished you to be our future S.G of U.Ns,
After completing your formal education,
Then came a calamity upon you,
A Devil's misguided element killed you,
Killed you as a result of his moronism,
It's indeed worse than terrorism,
But forever we will be with you in our hearts,
Forever you will be circulating in our hearts,
Forever your face will be shining in our sights,
And forever you'll be in our prayers Oh Hanifah.
