Star, star you shine so bright
peircing through th late dark night
Where you live nobody knows
All they know is that you glow.
wanting everyone to see
Everything you really can be.
searching searching too and fro
looking looking high and low
they think they find you
but thats not you
for they have never seen beauty quite so true
You'll cry and cry and feel this gloom
woundering why they dont want you.
but its not that
because that is far from the fact
one person will look and find
the person thats not mean and so kind
they'll win the prize
look in your eyes
and know they tried
when everyone else lied..
star star you shine so bright
they'll find you before morning light
