Little Wood Swing Poem by Tess Whitney

Little Wood Swing

Rating: 3.8

The careless girl with nothing but dreams came and sat in the little wood swing
went as high as she could and tried not too fall, until she realized no one cared at all
if she went away and never came home her lungs would fill up with smoke
the depression and stress seems like life is just a test might as well cut open her chest
tear her heart out and leave it on the swing where nothing began but dreams upon dreams
