Live Each Moment Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Live Each Moment

Live each moment as if it's your last,
Relive those memories from your past.
Nothing in this life can be certain,
At any time they can draw the curtain.

There's no guarantee you'll have tomorrow,
There's never any more time you can borrow.
You'll never understand the circumstance,
In this life you will only get one chance.

You must live your life for all it's worth,
And leave your mark upon this earth.
What you leave behind is your legacy,
But it's up to you what that will be.

Show the ones you love, that you care,
You may not get another chance to share.
Always cherish those precious moments,
Because each one could be heaven sent.

Make your voice heard while you're around,
It will be silenced when you're in the ground.
We take this life for granted way too often,
But at any time we could be put into a coffin.
