Live To Die Poem by James Davis

I live my life to die but i will not stand by as you lie
If you cannot believe in me then i'll standby and watch you leave
This isn't like a fight something that will pass over night
For today i will stop my heart's decay something u had to play
Life is to be lived but my heart is soft and gentle like a kid
I can't believe you've ever loved me after seen what I've have seen
I'd go back to the time where we first met just to stop this neglect
Never again will you have me in you hands shifting and molding like wet sand
I have given enough love to know none will return just like a moth to a light i was burned
I just had a talk with nature and it hasn't answer me back
But i think it's going to say live to die another day
Maybe I will live maybe I'll die but now i know i never saw love in your eyes
