Living For Whom? Poem by Satish Verma

Living For Whom?

Your eyes, what do
I see? Brutally the river swells.
Life's teachings have failed.

Who was hypnotized?
Giver or taker? Our vantage points
are different. We hurt with hugs.

Voiceless the pain
rises to make a religion, where the
murderer becomes a god for love.
