Living In A Very Silent World Poem by RIC BASTASA

Living In A Very Silent World

tonight is like
diving in the
deepest part
of the Surigao
Trench, there
is so much
silence and
all the rocks
and corrals
and fishes
and seahorses
and urchins
and grasses
are not talking.

all i see are bubbles
rising to the surface
and the bottom
of a boat passing
over my head.
