Living In Hell Blessed By God Poem by Kirsten Leaver

Living In Hell Blessed By God

Rating: 5.0

In this place where its cold and hollow
She breaths so silent, all you can do is wallow.
The cries in the night, cuts you like a knife
And all you want is for everyone to be alright.
Her eyes become moist, with sadness and fear,
It sends pain through your heart to see her shed a tear.
Your shadow is your only friend, in this dark of time.
And not to see her smile, is like a crime.
I wish we did not have to worry everyday,
I wish we could leave this dreaded place and not have to stay.
In here its like were all living in hell,
breathing fire, and stepping on nails.
While I am alone, without anyone to hold.
And she is alone, without any place to go.
All of us dieing on the inside, but with prayers screaming from our hearts.
Its as if we were to be throwing darts.
God, saved her for us
Now we don't have to cuss.
Thankyou I say,
Knowing how blessed she and we are on this day.
But I still can't stand the sound of any type of beep.
For thats what I heard in the night while she was asleep.
That noise made me scared that her life had end there,
but it was just the monitor checking up on her, because it cared.

Truly a great poem, I had to read this three times I didn't want to miss anything you said. Even after I thought about it more. I agree you have talent and please don't stop writing.
