Left Alone Poem by Kirsten Leaver

Left Alone

Was she left out in the middle of the night alone?
with not a kiss, not a hug.
The rain fell like god broke his promise,
and the world would flood.
She drifted through the water,
like a letter lost at sea.
Drowning in her sorrows;
A storm hit with intensity.
It seemed like it was 100 Mph,
and turned into a hurricane.
And she never cries now, she breaths it all in,
all at once.
And she never can forget the pain anymore,
alone she stood out on her own,
out in the pouring rain, with not a soul to hold.
Not a single kiss..
No body noticed the flash flood warnings.
They all fled down stream, not noticing.

The rain fell like god broke his promise, and the world would flood. She drifted through the water, like a letter lost at sea. These are great lines, I love the first one its such a great choice of words. You write is so interesting and had me hooked from start to finish.

interesting story and twists, sing it in your mind, or speak it out loud, to achieve rhythm bliss :)
