It halted; rainfall that once showered
It frowned; the earlier smiling sun
It hid; once displayed crescent moon
Yes! Nature has spoken
A foetus first formed
From that smelly thicker thing
Hours, days and weeks counted
Hurray! Al-Khalid has done it
A congealed-thing to a flesh-and-blood
Thrived progressively like a crop on the arable farm
Later became three, legs that were two
Alas! Senility has set in
Weeks, months and years added up
Earth was dug and planted in it
A once foetus formed figure
Hey! Earth has taken its belong
Why then the hues and cry
When ends all that begins
One’s effort to live in this life
Prepares him to leave this life
