Living To Love Poem by Dr. Madan Gandhi

Living To Love

No oil in lamp
unclean the vessel
untrimmed the wick!

How can the lamp be lit
how can there be light?

Unless persistent the call
insistent the quest
the door shall not open!

Everyone is but a prince
with a crown in heart
and a life consecrated to love

The condition to arrive-
intense yearning
burning at both ends

Praying to believe
believing to pray
living to love all life.
