Locked And Lost Poem by Robert Koszar

Locked And Lost

Our feelings are rolling down
like grains of sand in the hourglass...
That's how it goes silently, forgetting
that once who we were.

Forgetting the words, what
we whispered to our sweetheart
they were lost, united
in the endless ocean...

We wander lost, we get
a silent response to the echoes of our steps...
As we walk into the sun we feel discarded
the absence of our past.

As time passes, our bitter
taste of anger is fades
so we close the store of our memories,
stepping on our way, leaving
no trace of our foot on the worn asphalt.
