Locked Away Poem by Melissa June

Locked away in this poem
you give me hope
feeling safe here then within my home
here i'm not having to cope
letting my emotions pour out within you
here is where i'm free
putting my guard down i let you see-through
you let my problems be yours to carry
here i am able to cry
i'm not afraid of showing my weakness
letting it out will lift my spirit high
enable me to feel a sense of calmness
you always make me see whats on the other side
this place is not where i must stay
that no more am i having to hide
from now on everything will be okay
no more will this face be frowned
i'm throwing away the key
don't want to be found
locked away in this poem, is where forever i'll be.
