Locked Inside Looking Out. Poem by Dyllan Martin

Locked Inside Looking Out.

Locked away,
Inside cold captivity,
Held inside like an animal,
Surprisingly sane,
You kept me here,
Luckily I have air so I can breathe,
But space,
I have none,

Why am I here?
I shall never know,
You locked me up,
And trailed my name through the dirt,
Left me with nothing,
As my suffering continues,

At each new dawn I pray for death,
Just so i can stop this charade,
But even death is too good,
So I will suffer,
Day in,
Day out,
Hoping one day to be free,
From the cage you put me in.
