Log Cabin Narrative Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Log Cabin Narrative

Coyote howling in the night
A red cardinal on the snow
Long eared owlets hooting of fright
Lonely reindeer searching for does

Hot chocolate by the fire
Lovers wrapped in a woolen shawl
Slowly the embers expire
All slumber to the sandman's call.
