Logos (A Divine Force) Poem by Marcus McKinley

Logos (A Divine Force)

Seeing sideways through a dropp of rain
Deceiving life's peripheral pain
Intensely focused minds stay sharp
Flipped and reversed within its prism

Carved and shaped by criticism
Soft and gentle yet to the point
Striving to escape back to stoicism
Seeing sideways through a dropp of rain

Existential, destinations unknown
Fathomed by the moistness of breath
Carried upon winds, it chills to the bone
perhaps the humid signs of death

Within its core lies the key of life
The final truth of our universe
answers to the question of man
dripping from your cheek to your hands

Cup them tight, these travelers of fate
Within each one a promise made
There journeyed life in hesitate
Peacefully upon the ground they're laid
