Lois And Excuse Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Lois And Excuse

Lois and Excuse

Michael Angelo on the show in AGO
"You're welcome, you can go."
I told her as trained:
"Ladies first, "

Then we shared one table
Both married for decades
‘Now divorced'

Chats and talks and efforts
Finally a click and connect

She's Lois but last name is Greek
Not her face, hair color, was trick

"Ex-husband's..." she said, I
In same boat; dug in her; felt it all
It is hard leaving behind the decades.
She mumbled: "For the sake of my son."
