Loneliness Poem by Terence An

Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

Loneliness is but an ever present soul,
But always restless in its ill-fitting mold,

And I will overlook the massive sea,
Never will I dive to land beneath of me.

O’ endless waves of eyes waiting to judge,
And a unyielding Earth unwilling to budge,

Although the world gave me no bliss,
Its noise still, I will miss.

So I’ll take comfort in my home,
Though I live there all alone.

One who lives alone must resist loneliness; it brings nothing good with it. Be content and make happiness a part of who you are, whether you are alone, or not. Great poem. Clear message. Very good writing. Thanks for sharing, and keep it up.
