Loneliness Poem by Rose Marie Cook

Loneliness

Loneliness cries to the moonlight
Beats me down
Loneliness yells in silence
Waiting for someone to hear

Loneliness is my life
My eternity
Loneliness haunts my dreams
Lives in my soul

Loneliness takes control
Drives my life
Loneliness is my comfort
My only choice

Loneliness is hidden
Behind it's smiling mask
Loneliness makes me wish
It was over just as fast

Loneliness is forever me
Till God accepts
Loneliness fills me
Until my death

Loneliness hands me to him
The keeper of my soul
Loneliness changes into the hands
Of my forever lord, The Devil
