The sun was out
the snow was melting
the dogs were barking
the hawks were flying
the birds were chirping
the tires threw doplets on the windshield
The motorcycles zoomed by
convertible tops were down
windows too
people went to church
cars honked
motors could be heard passing by
The branches are still bare
no floweres yet
Except a Dozen roses for $17.99
hammers heard nailing in in the distance
The ice fisherman are still fishing
The ground is still snowcovered
But Spring is in the air today
Makes me feel so lonely for you
