Lonely Hours Poem by Christy Marie Lucero

Lonely Hours

Rating: 5.0

Time is fastly running
But until now I'm still waiting
For someone to be my listener
Wanting someone to be my adviser

I wonder who can fill the emptiness
Who can erase the loneliness
What I feel at this very moment
Is sadness and serious predicament

At times sun refuses to shine
Darkness covered my mind
Nobody comforts me on my lonely hours
Cause you weren't there when situation sours

My tears like river it flows
Cause of the bitterness that the wind blows
My heart is fastly beating
Cause of the loneliness that I'm feeling.

Only compassion in this unfading reality
I just need your company
Comprehend me as you wipe my tears away
On my lonely hours please console me.
