Lonely Hours Poem by Penni Currie

Lonely Hours

Rating: 4.7

Lonely hours
spent
watching the rain
like tears
on the window pane.

Lonely hours
wishing
you were here with me
as I gaze
over another cup of tea.

Lonely hours
spent
alone, crying
dying slowly
because you are gone.
