Lonely, is my soul without yours
Without your hand to guide me
Without your voice to sing me to sleep
Or your eyes to set me free

Fearful, was my heart when you left
My body, when you came back
Because I knew you would have to leave again
You, I would always lack.

Sadness, from my eyes
Tears poured down my face
Until I found you, in my heart
When I came back to our special place.

But once I was there
I didn’t want to lose you once more
Without you there with me
My life was one long chore.

Happiness, once I am with you again
Living in a place no one else can see
No loneliness, fearfulness or sadness
Just a place where we can be
