Turning The Page Poem by Anonymus Girl

Turning The Page

My life is overlapping
And my heart is free again
But I'll never forget the longing
I've already forgotten the pain

I won't cry because I lost you
But I'll smile about the times we had
And my eyes will hold a small sadness
Because of how things got a bit bad

But the world will keep on spinning
And new people will become friends
As lives are shaped and created
Others will make-way and end

And I'll walk down different pathways
Until I find one that returns to you
Then I'll run into your arms again
A different person, brand new

I'll look back on this in my diary
Someday once I have aged
Then I'll pick up a pen and keep writing
As I simply turn the page
