Rain drops rhythmically,
A familiar sound for lonely hearts,
Looking out of the windows of emotion
Searching for comfort that you are,
Eye beheld a scenario of helter-skelter
As footsteps dash for shelter…and
The kids so excited,
Play football game in the wet…
Suckling babies grab their mothers'
Embrace, they held peacefully away
From the stormy raindrops of loneliness,
Cuddling and squeezing, increasing the heartbeat
Of warmth and tender emotions.
And,
Bumping and grinding, lovers forgot
The isolation of the cold weather. And the lonely
Hearts keep warm under their bed sheets,
Awaiting the return of their lovers afar.
