These were
the same lone days
Followed by
the same lonely nights.
These were
The same lazy dawns
Followed by
The same dark dusks.
I was always
The ever wandering loner.
The brazen wind,
Who could never
Find a lover.
The rest less soul
Which could never
Find a shelter.
Till,
you came along.
Like the
crack of monsoon,
After
a long scorching summer.
Quenching the thirst
Of ages.
Drenching forever
the parched me.
Now,
These are the same lone days
Followed by
The same lonely nights.
These are
The same lazy dawns
Followed by
The same dark dusks.
Just that,
they have grown longer
In Waiting.
But, loneliness has a new name
“Yours”.

lovely piece...touching sad....imbued with longing pain and torment... some nice poetry there started off like charles dikens-a tale of two cities...and ended up like the tail of two beings :) cheers
