Long Ago Poem by Moth Harris

Long Ago

Long ago, you did not know, that on this road.
Everything you say, all those wasted days,
come back your way, and now today you're finally afraid.
Should've stayed, the games you played, you made my day.
Now you're gone, nothing's wrong, prouder and strong,
Get to where ever you belong, because it's not here.

Long ago, you were so low, I was a one man show,
now the stage is all mine, I'm doing fine, with my design.
Not a problem in my mind, Left you behind,
The contract's been signed, my thoughts combined
The past is what I find, I can see so clearly,
but my loneliness is so blind.

Long ago, you acted like you didn't know.
Don't got time for a hoe, you're far below.
Left me in my woe, now it's yours to show.
Memories mess with my flow, I just want you to go,
I just wanted you to know.

That I'm so over you.
