Long N Lonesome Blues Poem by Hubert J. Humperdink

Long N Lonesome Blues

Hollow winds around me roarin
Waters round me rise
I sit here my fate deploring
Tears swelling in my eyes

That road is so dark
Them hounds they moan like hell
And I am so sick
May get better but i won't get well

But make no mistake
Cuz I am comin
I am comin back home

Very nice display of rhyme. Hollow winds, nice line. Patricia

Your rhyme seems natural, not forced - a delight so see rhyme used well. This poem begs to be sung.
