Longing Poem by Love Forever

Longing

As I lay down to rest I'm left with thoughts
Of only one, the one that's only mine
I wish that life was all forget-me-nots
But sadly not, my heart's left on the line

I'm mad as hell that you're so far away
The only thing I want's to be with you
But still I have to live another day
Painting my longing a far darker hue

Over the hill the sun now starts to rise
As I wake up the first thought on my mind
Is something that will lead to my demise
I know what's meant when love's said to be blind

But still I fall into its scheming trap
I cannot find my way, there is no map
