Longing By Nazım Hikmet Poem by Efe Akdag

Longing By Nazım Hikmet

It's been a hundred years since I've seen your face,
wrap your waist,
should stay in your eyes,
should not ask questions to the clarity of his mind,
touch the warmth of your belly.

A hundred years waiting for me
a woman in a city.

We were on the same branch, on the same branch.
We fell off the same branch and left.
A hundred years between us
the road is a hundred years old.

A hundred years in the twilight
I run after.
