Lord, I long to be near you
that awakens wonderful
feelings in me.

I long for your arms
that hold, support
and carry me.

I long for your eyes
which look at me
kindly and say ‚yes‘.

I long for your tender
touch in awe and
with mindfulness.

I long for your
gentle words
that comfort
and inspire me.

I long for signs
from which I know
that I am worth
something to you
and that you love me.
