Look at the world that never sleeps
Look at the planet that holds so many beeps
look at the hearts that never stop to beat
look at the sunsets that hold so many lips
look at the earth that holds so many cities;
look at it in wonder, in awe, in happiness and joy
look at it in fatigue, in worries and in pains;

no one wants tomorrow to stop their games
no one waits for today to bring them fame,
each one works and strives for success
as man keeps looking for prosperity and satisfaction
woman keeps looking for motherhood and providence;
and as each one achieves the dreams they see
each one chooses the love they need;

next comes wealth and health concerns
than says a voice aloud though it is just in whispers:
look at the people who never complain
look at the blanket that holds your aspirations within,
look at the child and family who needs your support
look at the sunrise for one last time
look at the life which you lived your way
look at everything you did and never regret
for life is all these and death is what you cannot escape.
