Please look at me,
baby tell me what you see.
Can you see my soul through my eyes,
do you see the pain i try to disguise.

Put your hand over my heart,
can you find the broken part.
Can you feel it beating slow and then fast,
it because of your love mending the damage from the past.

You see baby i hide who i am everyday,
all because i've been hurt in almost everyway
And yet you can make me both scared and excited at the same time,
I want to run away before i fall to hard for you but then at the same time i need you to be mine!

Anyone who can make you both scared and brave at the same time is worth it all,
And so for you i'll let myself fall.
Because baby i know you'll catch me,
Because when i look into your eyes that's what i see.
