Sometimes the hurt’s so painful
We feel we cannot go on
When we lose someone we love
We forget where we belong

In an instant our lives can change
And we often wonder why
The world doesn’t stop for us
When all we want to do is cry

We feel that God isn’t there
That he has overlooked our pain
Not matter how hard we pray
We feel our faith cannot remain

How do we pick up the pieces?
How do we face another day?
Well, we HAVE to find in ourselves
A reason to go on our way

For God dearly does love us
And if we look deep inside
We are stronger than we think we are
For a time our strength seems to hide

So look toward tomorrow
Yes, it may take a little time
But God will help you through this
And faith in Him you’ll find!
