Look Who's Got You. Poem by Rachel Shaw

Look Who's Got You.

How sweet it is to watch you sleep
Through your window, catch a peep
I'll find a way to make this worth my while.

In and out of sequence we fall
Flailing in our passions
This time the only way I want is mine

You stumble in your tracks, Your running out of breath
And your knowing this isn't over yet
Your walking on my wire, until I get my way I won't retire

Look who's got you.
Look who has got you now.

Oh bless, you thought you could test me, get the better of me.
Surely you would have learnt by now.

Tight lipped I watched you speak to Rob Zombie in your sleep
Whilst I'm doubling up on your dose, like it's going out of style.

Look who's got you.
Look who has got you now.

Why, they must all be so envious.
Why do they insist on keeping us apart
I'm sure you'll detest it
but I'll risk being arrested
to walk the one hundred metres back to your heart.

Look who's got you.
Look who has got you now.
