Looking Into My Eyes, The Two Mirrors Poem by Mohammad Younus

Looking Into My Eyes, The Two Mirrors

Look into my eyes, the two mirrors,
You won't see in these any other,
But your own image.
Who can see you, You have no other?
You are the seer, the seen, and the mirror.
Here are my eyes and earsrs --
To see your own beauty,
And to hear your own praises.

You appear in my form,
To see your manifestation,
With the divine eyes lent to me.
So let me stand with the divine eyes, to see you,
Under the covers of your manifestation.

Let me Stand as a witnesser,
Of your beauty profound,
I am born here on earth, as I find,
To be your eyes and ears.
You can't hid yourself,
From your own eyes and ears.

I have not forgotten my covenant,
Of love with you,
Keeping my promise, I haven't left loving you,
I have Left casting my looks at any other.
I'm still by your side, I feel I am holding your hand,
I tightly hold your hands, and I see.
If it weren't your love for me, To allow me to love you,
I don't know how I would upon the earth love you.
