Looking Inwards Poem by ritty patnaik

when i close my eyes
and look inwards
let my thoughts waft over,
like the clouds in the sky,
and suddenly,
i dwell in the light
the light of thyself!

i hold on to it,
from moment to moment'
not letting it move,
not letting it pass
my breath still!
that is the moment i cherish
out of all.
