i find absolute delight
in the way you get flustered
barely able to speak
wishing to take flight
control that's not mustered

perhaps that's wrong
but it is good to know
that still you fight, it is not gone
why though?
because tho i too hide, i fear
inside i am alight
with the fire you create each time you are near

yet i cannot, dare not
make a move your way
else i scare you further away
my timid love now in denial
if i had some poison in a vial
i think i might take it
so as to end this and loose the knot
tight within my stomach's pit
