You are the rising son
illuminate the devising night sky
rejuvenate its aging, moonlit eye

You died that we be saved
stretch your arms far and wide
extend your mercy to those who hide

Your wisdom be our guide
teach us your heavenly ways
reach out with thy sunlit rays
Lord Jesus!
Lord Jesus! !
Have mercy on us all…
